How can I connect my sub from a Sony Shelf system to another receiver? - audio receiver reviews
The main part of my Sony receiver GX450 (http://reviews.cnet.com/audio-shelf-systems/sony-mhc-gx450-mini/1707-6721_7-30823964.html) no longer works.
I had no problem with the speakers to another receiver (Denon AVR-588), but I do not know how to bring the sub up and running.
The subcommittee has 2 ports, one that looks like a single RCA connector on one end of a speaker cable and another port that looks like a speaker cable, and has a proprietary connector at the end that at the back of the Sony receiver in a port of the term "control links.
When I connect the VCR to my Denon receiver to the RCA input of my Sony receiver, and connect the receiver with the Sony than normal, I get sound from the sub. The problem is that the volume of the subcommittee is not automatically adjusted. If I like everything, except leave you connect the RCA particularly at the end of a speaker cable that comes from my on-the-subwoofer my Denon receiver does not receive sound from the sub.
How can I use in my Sony with my Denon receiver and notneed to manually adjust the volume every time you adjust the volume on the Denon receiver? It would be nice, not with the greatest part of the Sony receivers use easy to reach over and under the Sony directly to my Denon receiver.
